Teen Space
Hello, and welcome! At Barrett Memorial Library we believe it is important for tweens and teens to have a space to call their own. We encourage teens grades 6 & up to hang out, work on projects, finish homework, play games, and have fun in our Teen Area. We want our library to be a fun and safe place for teens to gather and gain meaningful experience through programs like Teen Trivia Nights, Teen Lock-Ins, and more! High School students are invited to get involved in our Teen Advisory Board and Podcast Club. Hope to see you soon! – Miss Emily
Made possible by a collaboration between Barrett Memorial Library and Williams Bay High School, The Podcast Club is a way for students to have a voice in the day-to-day school life. They produce the daily announcements, create their own student led content on a variety of topics, and work with community members to help tell the unique and incredible story of Williams Bay!
Our Teen Advisory Board is a teen leadership group at Barrett Memorial Library. Students grades 8-12 work together to bring exciting, memorable experiences to our community.
TAB members assist with programs, run a podcast, and raise money for library programs through sales at the farmers market. The do good work for the library and make a positive impact on our community.
